Widget installation is straightforward:

Select a page (your main Web page is best)
Copy several lines of HTML Code that contain the script function openRequestedPopup() within the <header> ... </header> section of your Web page
Include a button or a link on the same page to call the function openRequestedPopup() . Higher on the page is better. Here is the simplest coding for a button

For Organzations: How the Widgets Work With Your Web Site

MAISY Energy Applications Widgets are popups that do not alter your Web site at all, except for the addition of a few lines of code as described above.

Widget software and databases are stored on our servers. Each time a visitor clicks on the Widget button on your Web site, a small pop-up window is opened. Control is passed to the Widget window but your Web page is still open and visible behind the popup window. The visitor can go back to your Web page at any time and the visitor can close the popup at any time, returning focus to your Web page.

Widget visitors will input a small number of building characteristics and their annual cost estimates for electricity and natural gas. The Widget

Provides an evaluation of the visitor’s sustainability score energy cost and emissions showing how they rank in terms of energy cost percentiles and sustainability impacts
Presents the Visitor with alternative target efficiency percentiles and

Each time a visitor submits a Widget evaluation you will receive an automated email notification. Visitors can selects an option to provide session information to you, providing valuable information on your market prospects and their preferences - a capability only available only with the Widgets.
